Director's Statement
I was attracted to this story because it is real and raw. While it deals with an incredibly difficult part of life and shows a family unravelling, ultimately it’s a love story. These characters all love each other, and each want what’s best. Like real life, sometimes there are no easy solutions, which makes their conflict so compelling. I hope that this film elicits compassion for the caregivers and leaves viewers questioning their own ideas about end of life decisions.
