Synopsis: It’s a cold night in the streets of New York as a weary young man, Ben, is crestfallen by his recent experience as a death doula. His questioning of life and death alerts him to Chloe as she wanders the streets one step ahead of personal disaster. What seems to be a beautiful night of romance turns into questioning the frailties of their existence. Will they overcome their own alienation or continue into their personal madness?

Director's Statement
In my artistic journey, I often explore thematically the results of isolation and the need for human connectivity. I am curious about a world that is increasingly connected virtually, but widespread isolation, loneliness, and addiction seems to be on the rise.
In The Night explores two characters in search of meaning. Ben’s pursuit of purpose has lead him to question life and death. Chloe, in the midst of drawing newly sober breath, has difficulty coming to terms with her seemingly wasted life.
