Synopsis: A group of rare birds flew over northern Mozambique, two wingless rare birds were left behind and got lost from the group … lost and in despair, the two wingless rare birds were saved by Helpo, a non-governmental organization.

Along Helpo’s endless support, the two wingless rare birds received a school education.

Question:
– How do two rare birds without wings receive school education in Mozambique? Exactly. That’s exactly what I thought. However, with school education, the two wingless rare birds are able to fly now and are dreaming of flying higher

Koshukuru means Thank You in Makhuwa, which is the primary Bantu tribe language of northern Mozambique. It is spoken by the Makua people, and besides being the most widely spoken indigenous language, it’s still considered a non-official language which demands an urgency to learn a standard universal way to communicate.

This documentary is about raising awareness of the intrinsic drama that is the buzzword of “Early Childhood Education” or the lack of it in a country where more than 53% of the population are children, and where the rate of HIV / AIDS occupies the 6th position in the world virus prevalence charts. I’ve followed the work of a non-governmental organization for 13 days, and the real situations described are part of their daily job.
