Synopsis: For 25 years, youth from the Cree Nation of Wemindji have been retracing the journey of their ancestors down the ‘Old Factory’ River to James Bay in what is now known as Northern Quebec.

This film was a collaboration with the youth of Wemindji. They were involved in every step of the process. We even did some of the editing in the community.
Director's Bio
Jeremy is an award-winning filmmaker who focuses his lens on environmental and cultural conservation efforts. He has produced over 100 short documentary films on environmental, cultural, and social issues. He works predominantly with indigenous communities in BC as a producer and mentor to bring visionary stories of resiliency to the public eye.
