Synopsis: My Century is a celebration of the first 100 years in the life of Ann Lindgren. Ann’s life is the story of women breaking barriers during the 20th century. She was born before electricity, helped design fighter planes during World War II, and managed to have a career and family when that wasn’t available to most women.

At 101, she is still brilliant, funny, feisty and fiercely independent. This is the story of a reluctant heroine who continues to smash expectations for women into her second century.

Director's Statement

I met Ann out at a bar where I saw her dancing with her 18 year younger boyfriend, she was 98 years old. I asked a friend about her and she told me some of her story and I knew I needed to film her. And for the record, I went home before she did.

Getting to know Ann has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. Ann is such an inspiration to me, she has had some real tragedies and set backs but always kept going. At 99, she was funny, engaged and has lead a truly interesting life, were she often broke boundaries, without even trying to, or realizing it.
