Synopsis: Inspired by true stories from Assamese youth, the animation Pathways to Recovery traces the winding road from substance addiction to recovery. It illustrates the typical roundabouts, cul-de-sacs, and staging posts along the way, accompanied by a narrative drawn from the lived experience of multiple young addicts in recovery.

Director's Bio
Anna Madill specialises in visual methods and youth wellbeing. She is PI of ‘The Big Picture,’ a Global Challenges Research Fund project on youth resilience to, and recovery from, substance addiction in Assam. Raginie Duara is Research Fellow on ‘The Big Picture.’ She undertook her PhD at the University of Leeds on traumatic transition to adulthood in Assam and UK.
