Someone To Carry You
Synopsis: After an out of the blue (and hilariously bizarre) text from her childhood BFF, Serena takes her boyfriend on a heartwarming — and occasionally unbelievable — journey through a friendship that colored, defined and maybe even saved the girls’ adolescences. Someone to Carry You pays homage to friendship, eccentricity, nostalgia and the miracle of finding your very first soulmate.

Director's Statement
I wanted to write a story about relationships that feel like magic. To share that special moment when you meet your first real friend.
The first person who makes you feel seen and heard.
The first person who shares and celebrates your creativity.
The first person who nourishes your uniqueness.
That formative friendship that happens before the world tries to tell you that your wild spirit might make you seem different, and before you realize that different is good.
Someone to Carry You is about embracing your weird, your quirks, your imagination. It shines a light on the people in your life that constantly encourage you to be yourself.
