Synopsis: Welcome to Trusting Truth, Faith, Family, Friends & Horses in Appleridge, Book 2. Don’t worry if you haven’t read Gathering Goodness, Book 1—but you may enjoy it later. Come meet Lainie Anderson who is looking for happiness in all the wrong places, but Lainie doesn’t know any right places. Follow Jennie McKenzie, a reporter for the Farm & Family Country Chronicle, as she uses her investigating skills to help friends, both old and new. Jennie’s grandpa enjoys reminiscing with an old friend, and conducting Appleridge business at the Bake and Shake, a local bakery. Could there possibly be a moose on the streets of Appleridge? Megan learns a lesson about being truthful, as her dad and local vet, Dr. Adrian Peterson, fights an addiction to cookies. The Annual Apple Festival parade draws a huge crowd, especially the friends from Jennie’s barn, and Marcy’s prancing ponies are the parade favorites. Jeremy James and Jennie, enjoy being in like—and maybe more. A community gathers in support of a new teacher, and an estranged mother and daughter learn about grace, friendship, and fighting for the truth. There’s a lot happening in Appleridge. Come for a little visit, kick off your boots, grab a quilt, and get cozy!

Director's Bio

As a Christian author, Linda loves writing inspirational and fun stories driven by entertaining and warm characters, a little drama, and a touch of mystery. Her stories turn a messy world into a world of love and grace, and, of course, always include a horse or two, or three, or four…

Linda would love to be known as a child of God, entertaining author, and savvy horsewoman…she promises to keep trying! She lives on a small farm with her family, two horses, three cats, and one really good dog. The crops grown on the farm are Linda’s books and a bit of music. She loves playing her fiddle at church and with friends. She also makes it her mission to spoil her young grandsons as much as possible.

When she isn’t writing, Linda enjoys learning new things with a small Morgan horse named Wren. Linda and Wren are learning to drive. Don’t worry, Wren isn’t learning how to drive a car! He is learning to pull a two-wheel cart. Actually, he’s pretty smart, so he could probably drive a car, too!
