Synopsis: “A child gives birth to a mother and becomes an inseparable extension of her body.”
After a mother tests Positive for Covid-19, she locks herself in one of her least favourite places in the house. Positive becomes a negative word for her. She starts to experience a fusion of emotions – Love and Hatred, Longing and Belonging, Peace and Disturbance.
This film is an attempt to address these dualities which could be overwhelming for adults. But, on the other hand children adapt to changes very well as they are always living in the present. The mother is pleasantly surprised by this. In a way the child becomes the mother and brings her out of her grief.

Director's Statement
I wanted to share my experience and learnings as a mother dealing with sudden isolation. And as the story started to take shape it resonated with people that have been through similar situations.
Director's Bio
Pratima has never let herself settle. Beginning as a fine artist, she quickly gravitated towards animation. In a career spanning 2 decades, she has been a producer, writer, director, animator, lighter and art director on films, games, ads and TV shows. She has held workshops and lectures in universities and film festivals. Her articles on animation and Japanese anime have been published in film magazines and newspapers. Her works have been honoured at the London Film & Television Festival, Venice Shorts, Vancouver Independent Film Festival, FICCI, ABBY, EMMY and Cannes Lions.
