Our story takes place during the “Ten Days of Atonement”. During this time, Shaul returns from jail to a broken home, with his wife and daughter struggling to adjust to his return. Nisan, a recent Orthodox Jew feels responsible for Shaul’s misfortune and doesn’t feel that he can continue with his life without receiving absolution for his prior action.
