Synopsis: Two socks, Liam and Riley, enjoy life as a pair doing adventures and activities all socks do during the day. One morning, Riley falls out of the hamper on the way to the laundry. In a series of events, she’s picked up and taken to the backyard by the dog, mowed over, chewed, and drenched by the rain. Meanwhile, Liam tumbles hopelessly in the washer and dryer and the lovers wonder if they’ll ever meet again.
As a defeated Riley slides down the gutter, she’s spotted by Gemma, the daughter of the house. When her dad, the socks’ owner, finds Liam alone he tosses him into the garbage. When the dog sees this he fetches Liam out and brings him to Gemma like he always brings her his toys to play. At Gemma’s delight, fate has brought her Riley’s match. Liam and Riley are reunited and begin their new life as Gemma’s toy sock puppets.
