Director's Statement
When Cornelia approached me about directing this film, I knew instantly that I had to jump on board. It has everything I love to direct in a piece – humor, heart, and a damn good point. Perfectionism is a trait installed in so many women from birth. The need to be pretty, funny, talented, and driven ALL THE TIME can be overwhelming. Our hope is that this piece will remind our viewers just how attractive being imperfect can be. And who doesn’t like a little body humor every now and again….
