Synopsis: Bridge to the Other Side is a narrative drama, set in a small, seaside town about a young woman struggling with the untimely death of her firefighter husband. In a moment of desperation/inspiration, she joins a first response team to save those in mental health crisis. Embedded with the fire department, Max must prove she has the courage and toughness to handle the worst job in town, responding 24 hours a day to people in psychotic episodes. Facing her husband’s loss, suicidal feelings, a growing alcohol addiction, and her undeniable growing attraction to her new partner, Max wants to save the world – if the job doesn’t kill her first.
