Director's Bio
Bob Crane left his position as a Creative Director in advertising 24 years ago to pursue his dream, learning the art of horsemanship. First introduced to hunter jumpers Bob trained and competed on the local level in Arkansas. He was introduced to dressage when he started training in Eventing with Ralph Hill. He competed successfully through training level. This is where dressage became more interesting to him than the jumping aspect of riding.
The next 10 years Bob immersed himself in dressage. Scraping together whatever income he could he trained with Karl Mikolka, Sarah Martin, Olivia La-Goy Weltz and Jim Koford. Training the horse became his forte. Learning the biomechanics of what makes dressage so powerful Crane applied aspects of each of his mentors’ skill sets into a systemized method to help bring out the best in his clients’ horses.
