Synopsis: The ACM Stud was founded in July 1995 by Antonio Correia de Mendonça, son-in- law of the actual owner, returning to a family tradition of animal Breeding.
At the beginning they were used a group of Visconde dos Olivais (VO) broodmares, all of them gold medal winners at Santarem Nacional Agricultural Fair in the end of the 80’s.
The first stallions used were, Hipus (VO) and Jaguar (FBC), descendants of Danubio, from M. Veiga stud that was the “Champion of Champions” at the APSL Festival, Lisbon 1988. Afterwards they were used as stallions two horses from Manuel Assunção Coimbra stud (MAC)
