Director's Statement
“Tell It All” is based on real events (with certain facts changed) that took place when writer/ director Alejandra Bursik-Cervantes was an angry teenager who had just flunked gym class. The story explores how unexpected, shocking moments in life can reveal our truest selves.
Director's Bio
Alejandra Bursik-Cervantes is not as complicated a person as her lengthy name would lead you to believe. She is an actress, writer, and (now) director living in Los Angeles. Born to a Mexican mother and a Czech father, she has always gravitated towards telling stories about folks who feel like outsiders. After barely graduating from high school, she went on to get a BFA in acting from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts.) Since then, she has worked professionally in film, television, commercials, and theater. “Tell It All” is her directing debut.
