Director's Statement
I am immensely proud of the entire cast and crew of ‘Where is Lucy?’, especially of 11-year-old Eva Petersson who plays the lead role of Lucy. Despite challenging Covid restrictions and production delays, we shot and produced the film between March and May of 2021 at locations across Dubai. I am honoured that the jury of Lady Filmmakers has selected this short film for the festival, and this will be its first screening in front of a public audience.
