Synopsis: Every year on November 11th the Abrivado Festival gathers over 200 Gardians and 1,000 horses from all over the French Provence to take part in this festival on the Saintes-Maries beaches, open to horses and their riders only on this occasion. The uninterrupted suite of eleven abrivados test the Gardians’s skills to their limit as they endeavour to contain the bulls always ready to escape.
